Jan 21

If you need a decorator for your event whether it’s a children’s party, wedding or bar/bat mitzvah you have to hire eventdecorator.com.  We had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth the founder of eventdecorator.com last year at The Wedding Co. show. We were astonished to hear what inspired Elizabeth to start eventdecorator.com as her background was in business and not design…decorating was a genuine passion of hers. Eventdecorator.com’s decor is amazing and unique….they definitely know how to transform a simple room into a masterpiece that will make your jaw drop!

Read below to find out what inspires eventdecorator.com.

LPG: Please explain briefly when and why you launched eventdecorator.com.

eventdecorator.com: I launched eventdecorator.com in 1999 as a wedding junkie with an extensive business management background. I wanted to create a design company that was totally committed to the client’s vision.  I also wanted to offer services between Muskoka and Toronto.  There was very few people in the design industry then and I wanted to offer design services that included clients North of Toronto.

LPG: What makes eventdecorator.com unique?

eventdecorator.com: We strive to provide exceptional personalized customer service and designs that are unique and innovative.

We meet each client and personally design unique to their event.

We own a 5,500 square foot location and all of our services are provide in-house.

We are well known for our nature inspired designs!

LPG: What is the number one thing that you want people to know about eventdecorator.com?

eventdecorator.com: Your wedding will be a seamless, fun and stress free experience.  Our designers and planners are highly educated and trained to ensure you wedding day goes flawlessly!  We love what we do.

LPG: What goals do you want to achieve in the next 5 years?

eventdecorator.com: We were originally very Muskoka based, we want to focus on creating a lot more designs in Toronto.  I currently do some small business teaching and would like to continue to provide education to small business and people in the industry.  I have found I am a huge blogger and you will see exciting things happening on our blog.  My long term goal is to write a book.  We will see about that one!!

LPG: Please list a decorating tip when planning a child themed event such as a birthday, christening or bar/bat mitzvah?

eventdecorator.com: Create a table specifically for the children decorated in a theme they will love!  It does not have to match the adult tables exactly.  Add crowns or tiaras, feather boas, sunglasses and let them have fun with the theme.  We also do children’s tea party tables where the little girls get to have a pretend tea party using water.  They absolutely love this!
